Hope you are enjoying your morning cup of coffee or tea in your favorite spot. Is your favorite spot by the water, in the mountains ,your front porch or back deck, or in your jammies at the computer? Mine is on my front porch in the summer. I like to sit and talk to my husband Tom. Since we are both retired our schedule is not so rigid. We enjoy the quiet. And especially our coffee which brings me to telling you about my Coffee and Cards event that was held at my local library.
I took a Keurig and two kinds of coffee with creamer and sugar. The arrangement fit perfect on a window sill . But no one wanted a cup of coffee. So a lesson learned maybe most people have had their morning coffee by 10 AM!
But four women came and made their 2 cards. One of them was an older woman who so enjoyed herself. She smiled the entire time. She even thanked me for being patient . My dear friend Susan was also there. She is the one who introduced me to StampinUp!. She gave me moral support . I was so happy to share my cards with everyone. I have even scheduled two more events in August.
I used the Vertical Greetings stamp set on pg. 50 of the annual catalog .Also used the Banner Triple Punch on pg. 206 along with the Eastern Palace Designer Series Paper on 189.Lemon Lime Twist is one of my favorite new colors .
